Jennifer Babb, of Augusta, arranges a display case Monday containing a traditional Russian costume from the Samantha Smith collection at the Maine State Museum in Augusta.  A goodwill ambassador to the Soviet Union in 1983, many of Smith’s possessions were donated to the State of Maine after she passed away in 1985.  The exhibition will open Tuesday and be available to view until the end of June.  A Colby College senior, Babb, of Augusta, is serving as the guest curator for the show of Smith items in the permanent collection of the Museum.
