Instead of trying to scare all Social Security recipients into having heart attacks, maybe they should try a different tack.

How hard can it be to solve this problem? First of all, cut off all foreign aid and then focus on all aid to illegal immigrants for the next few years. (Don’t worry about losing a few votes in your next election.)

Voila! We are back in business.

I don’t think our politicians have the guts to do this, I’m sorry to say. But our deficit problem solved.
