LEXINGTON TOWNSHIP — Emergency crews were still on the scene of a structure fire Tuesday late afternoon on Long Falls Dam Road. A dispatcher at the Somerset County Communications Center said the fire was called in at 12:53 p.m. Firefighters from New Portland, Anson and Madison were sent to the scene. An ambulance, Madison Rescue and fire units from Highland, Lexington and Solon also were sent, as was a unit from the Maine Forest Service, according to the radio dispatch log.
