SNAPSHOT: Truckin’ to funeral

A funeral procession of trucks and motorcycles heads east Friday afternoon on Route 3 after leaving O’Connor GMC, on its way to the Windsor Fairgrounds, where friends and family held a celebration of life for the late Peter Grant. According to his obituary, Peter Grant, 56, of Windsor, died Oct. 2 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, as a result of a motorcycle accident. For the past 20 years, Grant had been self-employed at Grant’s Repair in Augusta. The procession went past his shop on Route 3 en route to the fairgrounds.
