I am writing about the construction in Farmingdale, much of which has been right at the end of my driveway.
All of us here have been very patient and understanding, as we know that job must be done.
I am, however, very weary of being jolted out of my sleep most nights about 1 a.m. by trucks backing up beeping. After the trucks empty their loads, I hear the bang bang banging of the tailgate.
I doubt I am the only person thinking we at least deserve a night’s sleep.
All we want is a reasonable night’s rest — we can deal with everything else.
