HAMPDEN — Chris Hall scored on a penalty kick with 8:55 left in the second half as Messalonskee defeated No. 4 Hampden, 3-2, in the Eastern A boys soccer final Wednesday evening at the Weatherbee Complex.

Hall had two goals in the game and Nate DelGiudice also scored for No. 6 Messalonskee, which will play in the state championship game Saturday. The Eagles trailed 1-0 at halftime and 2-1 in the second half.
