When taking my grandson to school a few weeks ago, a truck ran through a stop sign in our neighborhood.
If I had not been aware that it was a dangerous intersection (one person has already been killed there), the truck would have broadsided my car and hit my grandson.
I called the Gardiner Police Department with my concern and within a few days, there was a new, larger stop sign and a warning sign much more visible than the old, small sign that was previously there.
This grandmother is grateful for the prompt attention of the Gardiner Police Department and Public Works.
