WILTON — Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Wilton on Monday.

A passenger in one of the vehicles, 80-year-old Meta Sevigny of Farmington, was killed in the crash reported at about 4 p.m. as was the driver of a second vehicle. That man’s name was not immediately released pending notification of family.

A 44-year-old man was hospitalized.

Two vehicles were destroyed in the accident and the third vehicle sustained minor damage.

Police tell the Sun Journal roads were slippery at the time, but did not immediately blame conditions for the accident, which remains under investigation.
