Traffic is now flowing smoothly following a crash that slowed commuters on I-295 northbound this morning.

The crash occurred on I-295 northbound, just north of the Bowdoinham exit.

Maine State Police said the two-vehicle crash involved a commercial vehicle that leaked a large amount of fuel.

The Maine Departments of Transportation and Environmental Protection were called in to assist in the cleanup.

The crash, which was reported at about 8:30 a.m, caused some traffic delays.
