Since it is obvious that we cannot be on the scene of all events taking place locally and throughout the world, we must rely on the media for information.

When I see evidence of mass demonstrations protesting the killing of Trayvon Martin, I am convinced this is not a knee-jerk reaction to some imagined injustice.

I also see a self-appointed un-vetted neighborhood watcher toting a “shootin’ arn” just itching to put a hole in someone’s head. In his “career,” George Zimmerman made several bothersome calls to headquarters, and at the time of the boy’s shooting he was told to leave it alone, or words to that effect. He disobeyed those instructions and killed another person.

Zimmerman claimed he was attacked by the boy but showed no evidence of injury.

To date, I have read nothing about how the bullet entered the boy’s head, from front or back. If it can be shown that it was from the back, he was either walking or running away, probably scared out of his wits. A botched job of investigation in the very least. They need to get to the bottom of it.

I do not agree with the wording of Article II of the Bill of Rights. A well regulated militia is fine, but not all nuts should have the right to bear arms.

The article should be amended.
