Mother’s Day Weekend is Pottery Weekend in Maine. From Wayne to Windsor to Wiscasset, six central Maine clay studios will open their doors to the public to tour, meet the artists, see demonstrations and shop for pottery. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 13. The following studios will be open:
* Fine Mess Pottery, Augusta. Lori Watts with guest artist Tim Cichocki
* Malley Weber, Hallowell.
* Martha Hoddinott of A Lakeside Pottery Studio in Wayne, with guest artist Shell Moore.
* Robbi Portela of Maple Lane Pottery in Windsor.
* Brandon Lutterman in Wiscasset.
* Mary Kay Spencer of The Potter’s House in Litchfield will be open on Saturday only.
Visit all six studios and your name will be entered to win one of five pottery prizes.
