I am amazed and appalled that the Morning Sentinel has not made any mention of Waterville’s restaurant, The Last Unicorn, closing.

I heard Mayor Karen Heck held an emergency meeting recently with other local figures to try to find a way to save it, but I only know that because of the local rumor mill.

If I read the Sentinel for actual local news, I still wouldn’t know anything had happened.
