As the chairman of the Search Committee for the vice president and administration position at the University of Maine at Augusta, I am incredibly proud of the work our committee did in hiring Ellen Schneiter last spring.

The seven-member Search Committee reviewed the applications of several exceptional candidates, held two rounds of interviews, and finalists met with several campus groups throughout the interview process.

We feel very fortunate the process landed us an outstanding person for the job, someone who had previously overseen a $5.5 billion budget and whose credentials flew through the roof.
