The Ron Paul contingency should be congratulated for its well-organized participation at the Maine Republican Convention.
Now that their impact has been made so strongly, it is now time for them to continue those efforts by supporting the Maine Republican Party in volunteer participation, fund raising, attending county and state meetings on a regular basis, and, generally moving the party along.
If Paul’s supporters simply wanted to get people nominated to the national convention and then fade into the woodwork, then the many hours they and all Republicans spent at the convention was a waste of time.
I, for one, hope this will not be the case. The only way for Republicans to be successful in November is as a strong united front.
