Ten people were arrested on drug trafficking charges in separate arrests throughout central Maine Tuesday, according to a news release from United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II.

The arrests stemmed from a multi-agency investigation, and resulted in ten indictments last week by a federal grand jury in Bangor.

The ten people are:

• Maurice McCray, 31, of Waterville, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine; conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine; conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone; distribution of oxycodone; and distribution of cocaine,

• Tara Pelletier, 31, of Waterville, on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine,

• Rodney Lacroix, 23, of Waterville, on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute anddistribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine,

• Justin Lacroix, 24, of Waterville, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine; and possession with intent to distribute cocaine,

• Jesse Jones, 24, of Waterville, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine; and possession with intent to distribute cocaine,

• Joshua Blodgett, 21, of Skowhegan, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine; possession with intent to distribute cocaine; and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone,

• Saul Hernandez, 24, of Augusta, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine; possession with intent to distribute cocaine; and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone,

• Patrick Hanson, 21, of Waterville, on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine,

• Benjamin Lemieux, 29, of Winslow, on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine, and

• Cassandra Ware, 22, of Albion, on a charge of Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute oxycodone and 500 grams or more of cocaine.

Some of the charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of five years imprisonment and a maximum of 40 years imprisonment.

According to the release, the case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration; the U.S. Department of Homeland Security — Office of Homeland Security Investigations; Drug Enforcement Agency; Maine State Police; and the police departments of Waterville, Augusta, Fairfield, Oakland and Skowhegan and sheriff’s offices in Somerset and Kennebec County.  The Kennebec and Somerset County District Attorney’s Offices and the Office of the Maine Attorney General also provided assistance in the investigation.
