Joe Lajoie, right, and his father, John, guide a walkway Sunday from the docks attached to the bulkhead on the Kennebec River in Hallowell. The father and son from Lajoie Brothers Construction removed the walkway and docks for the City of Hallowell as a precaution due to a forecast for the river to flood from heavy rain.
