This letter is to support Alan Kelley for district attorney. I have been involved with the Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center for more than 20 years and have known Kelley for a good part of that time.

When I was an advocate, and in the courtroom for trials involving sexual assault, I got to see Kelley as a prosecutor much of that time. I always left the courtroom knowing that, win or lose, Kelley had done his best.

For the past year and a half I have served on the center’s board of directors with Kelley and have seen his devotion to the center and the new Children’s Advocacy Center in Waterville. Kelley has spent 30-plus years as a prosecutor and has done a great job.

I urge everyone to join with me in supporting Kelley for district attorney in July. I know you won’t regret it.
