MADISON — A woman was arrested Wednesday on three drug charges after months of investigation by police.
Kelly Ann Long, 45, of Madison, was charged with aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of synthetic hallucinogenic drugs after police from five agencies served a search warrant at Long’s home, according to investigating officer Toby Blodgett from the Madison Police Department.
Blodgett said police found the synthetic drug “bath salts,” prescription drugs and paraphernalia at the home.
During the search, police also arrested Jamie Taylor, of Anson, on outstanding warrants. Taylor is not facing any other charges at this time, Blodgett said.
Long was taken to Somerset County Jail in East Madison, where she is being held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
Police from Fairfield, Skowhegan, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrests.
