WATERVILLE — The Waterville Opera House will hold adult auditions for Leslie Bricusse’s musical “Scrooge!” from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, and Tuesday, Aug. 28. Separate auditions for children ages 7-16 will be held at noon and 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9. All auditions will be held in the Opera House Dance Studio on the third floor of the Center building. Selected scenes and song clips are available at operahouse.org.
“Scrooge!” tells the heartwarming holiday story of Ebenezer Scrooge’s redemption. It is based on the 1970 film of the same name. The cast has many featured roles and a large ensemble for performers ages 7 and older. Performances are Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9.
