PORTLAND — Bikers from across the region are converging on Portland to call attention to the case of Ayla Reynolds, who remains missing eight months after disappearing from her father’s home.

Organizers of Saturday’s “Ride for Ayla” say riders and motorists, in addition to motorcycle riders, were welcome to participate in the event culminating at a Harley Davidson dealership.

Ayla was 20 months old when she was reported missing from her Waterville home on Dec. 17. Police believe she’s no longer alive, but the family wants answers. They don’t want people to forget about Ayla.

Big Moose Harley-Davidson was hosting the event. Part of the proceeds was going to cover the cost of lunch and another part is going to LostNMissing, a nonprofit.
