Speaking of rape, that is an apt description of what is happening when billionaires insert their money into democracy at election time. I guess the Supreme Court has made this “legitimate” with its Citizens United decision, but I still call it “rape.”

If the team with the most money for advertising wins because of that advantage, true democracy has been violated.
