MONMOUTH — Theater at Monmouth will officially open the doors to Helen Melledy Hall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in support of the Monmouth Lions Club’s Inaugural community barbeque. Proceeds will support club activities.
Kicking off the open house at 11 a.m. will be Gary Crocker, Maine Humorist and Unregistered Maine Guide.
Dennis Price will emcee the Monmouth’s Got Talent Show featuring performances from community members from 1 to 3 p.m. To register, call 933-9999.
Fire chief Dan Roy will make the big trucks available for children, and the police department will be on hand with child fingerprint kits.
Suggested minimum donation, $20 per family of four, $10 for adults (ages 13 and up), free for children younger than 13. Advance tickets are available at the Town Office, Theater at Monmouth and the General Store for cash sales only. For more information, call 933-2211 or 933-5006.
