WATERVILLE — City councilors tonight plan to review economic development organizations serving the city and the region to discuss the need for possible improvements or changes.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the council chambers at The Center at 93 Main St. downtown.
Those invited to attend include Darryl Sterling, executive director of Central Maine Growth Council; Shannon Haines, executive director of Waterville Main Street; Kimberly Lindlof, president and chief executive officer of Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce; Diana Rafuse, FirstPark; and members of Waterville Development Corp.
Organization representatives will be asked how much the city contributes to the organization and what the organization does for the city.
Mayor Karen Heck will preside over the workshop. The public is encouraged to attend and may join discussion at any time.
