Our thanks to Rep. Jeff McCabe, D-Skowhegan, for his persistence and hard work in obtaining the voter-approved community development bond funding for Skowhegan.

Many people are likely unaware of McCabe’s role in this endeavor, whose issue had been blocked by the governor, as McCabe was not even mentioned in the news release announcing the funding.

We need to vote to keep McCabe in Augusta this fall so that the citizens of Skowhegan will continue to benefit from his dedicated service.
