Windsor Elementary School fourth-grader Sydni Plummer dumps cherries on the head of principal Rob Moody on Tuesday, during a celebration at the school in which students and faculty turned Moody into a human sundae.
Moody challenged students to at the beginning of the school year to read 170 million words and master 8,000 math objectives; children enrolled in the K-8 grades exceeded that amount by reaching 188 million words and learning 10,250 math objectives, Moody said.
