I just read the article about Gov. Paul LePage’s reply to the Lewiston man regarding the state’s response to the recent fires there. It is my view that the governor’s response should have been an attempt to help create a private coalition that would find money to aid the fire victims if he couldn’t contribute the actual money from state funds.
As the governor of Maine, LePage had a wonderful opportunity to display any latent leadership qualities he might possess. Instead, the governor chose to put his “It’s all about me” attitude on display. Too bad.
