So, Bryan Hodgkins (letter, June 12) thinks Paul LePage is the best governor Maine has had since James Longley. I didn’t live in Maine when Longley was in office, but I wonder if he had the same qualities as our current governor?
Let’s start at the beginning:
* Was going to tell the president where to go.
* Has constantly had temper tantrums usually about liberals.
* Has a minimum ability to get along with anyone not from his party.
* Has been totally uncaring about the residents of Maine.
LePage needs to grow up, stop being a bully and forget moving his office because of a TV. Will the taxpayers have to pay for this tantrum?
So, I wonder how, exactly, Longley should be compared to LePage.
