5-9 p.m., Water Street Carnival
6-8 p.m., concert at Monument Park
8:30-10:30 p.m., Star gazing at Mill Island Park (sky permitting)
Saturday
7-8:30 a.m., 5K run/walk beginning at the Community Center
7-8:30 a.m., Pancake breakfast at the Community Center
9 a.m.-3 p.m., Vendors at Monument Park
9 a.m.-2 p.m., Yard sale at Lawrence Public Library
9:30-10:30 a.m., Parade (ending at Monument Park)
10:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Water Street Carnival
10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Children’s Games
10:30 a.m.-noon, Music at the Gazebo featuring SuperImposed
10:30 a.m., fruit pie contest (deliver pies 9:30-10 a.m.; pies on sale after judging)
11 a.m.-3 p.m. horse & wagon history tours. Tours leave from Monument Park
11 a.m.-3 p.m., lunch at the Park with Scanlin’s chicken barbecue or Goodwill-Hinckley’s hamburgers and hot dogs
Noon-1:30 p.m., Karaoke at the Gazebo with Bryant Bourgoin
1-4 p.m., Open House at the Fairfield History House. Special exhibit on sports and leisure-time activities over the years.
1:30-3:30 p.m., Fairfield’s Got Talent
4-6 p.m., Supper at the Park – pulled pork, hamburgers, hot dogs
3:30-5:30 p.m., Music at the Gazebo with Sonny Perry and others
6-10 p.m., Dance Under the Stars with Steve Colella of 93.5 FM True Oldies Children’s Fun in the Park (after parade)
