AUGUSTA — At least one person has been injured in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of State and Capitol streets.

The injured person, whose identity was not immediately available, is expected to be taken by ambulance to the Augusta State Airport where the person will meet a LifeFlight helicopter.

Rescuers were called to the crash around 2:50 p.m. Traffic is reportedly restricted in the area.
