CORNVILLE — A man on was arrested on West Ridge Road, near Cornville Regional Charter School, Monday after he reportedly threatened people at the school and then threatened a Somerset County sheriff’s deputy.

The man was subdued with a stun gun after he refused to submit to arrest, according to Somerset County sheriff’s Cpl. Eugene Cole.

Cole said the man then ran into the woods and was stunned again.

He was apprehended just after 2:30 p.m. and placed in a cruiser. Further details, including the man’s name, were unavailable.

The school is the former Cornville Elementary School.

Several game wardens, deputies and state police were at the scene.
