The election of members of the City Council is days away, and Augusta voters need to choose their two at-large representatives. Cecil Munson is No. 1 on my list.

Why? I will vote for someone who has:

• A long-standing, proven track record of representation and support for his constituents.

• Created new, assertive and effective ways to inform Augusta citizens about the work being done by city government and its governing bodies.

• Constantly listens to what his constituents have to say as he makes thoughtful policy decisions.

Having worked with elected officials at the local, state and national level, I have never met anyone who better serves his constituents than Cecil Munson. I urge Augusta voters to join me on Nov. 5, and vote to retain on the City Council one of Augusta’s finest public officials.
