WINTHROP — Bailey Public Library will host bestselling and critically acclaimed author Susan Conley at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Conley will read from her new novel, “Paris Was the Place,” and talk about the creative process. This event is part of the library’s annual Winthrop Community Read, a program that encourages all adults in the Winthrop region to read and discuss the same book at the same time, according to a news release from the library.
A Maine native, Conley currently teaches at the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast MFA Program and is the Jack Kerouac Visiting Writer at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
