AUGUSTA — The Children’s Discovery Museum, 171 Capitol St., has announced its upcoming summer camps.
• Dr. Seuss Camp, 9-11 a.m. Monday through Thursday, July 3. Children will explore the world of Dr. Seuss with his books and crafts and will create a “Seussical story.”
• Storyland camp from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 3.
Each of the following camps will be offered on a Monday-Friday in a junior session from 9 to 11 a.m. and senior session from 1 to 4 p.m.:
• Explore the Ocean, July 7-11. Children will make a seashore and hold living sea creatures from the ocean touch tank.
• Crazy Art Camp, July 14-18. Children will explore new art mediums.
• Water Water Everywhere camp, July 21-25. Children will learn about water using experiments, crafts and more.
• Superhero Camp, July 28-Aug. 1. Children will learn about superheroes and what it takes to become one. They will also design masks, capes and secret identities.
• Animal Camp, Aug. 4-8.
• and Science Discovery Camp, Aug. 11-15.
Juniors sessions are for children age 4 and 5 and afternoon camps will be for children age 6-8. Camps cost $100 for members and $115 for non-members. A $10 discount per sibling signed up for the same week’s camp is available. Space is limited and registration is required.
