LITCHFIELD — Isabella Rose Coulombe, 12, of Litchfield, will play the role of Violet in Andrew Lang’s “Tales from the Blue Fairy Book,” opening on Saturday at the Theater at Monmouth.

Coulombe has recently completed filming as a featured extra in the movie “Anniversary,” a Gum Spirits Production directed by James Cole and set to be released later this year. She also recently auditioned for the role of Laura Ingalls Wilder in the Columbia Pictures movie “Little House on the Prairie.”

She has attended theater camp at The Public Theater in Lewiston, Theater Arts Day Camp hosted by Lucy Rioux, and Open Book Players, with performances at Johnson Hall, Gardiner. Coulombe is represented by Port City Models and Talent, Portland.

Coulombe is a member of the Gifted and Talented Program at Oak Hill Middle School, where she maintains high honors. She enjoys playing the piano and has taken lessons for six years; she has also published original piano compositions. She plays flute in advanced band, plays softball and cross country.
