Shepherd graduates, receives degree
BOSTON — Devin Shepherd, son of Susan and Eric Shepherd of Farmingdale, Maine, recently graduated from Boston University. Shepherd received a bachelor’s degree in communications and graduated magna cum laude.
He also recently completed an internship through Boston University in Sydney, Australia.
Lachance named to Endicott dean’s list
BEVERLY, Mass. — Hayley Lachance, daughter of Steven Lachance of Manchester, Maine, and Holly Lachance of Winthrop, Maine, was recently named to the dean’s list for spring 2014 semester at Endicott College.
Hayley is a senior majoring in nursing.

NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Donald Lee Gray of Richmond, Maine, and Thomas Alan Carson of Winthrop, Maine, have received diplomas from Norwich University.
Gray received a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in criminal justice.
Carson received a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Howe, of Pittston, receives degree
ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Christopher Howe of Pittston, Maine, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Lindenwood University’s School of Liberal Arts.
He is the son of Ralph and Katrina Howe.
Sawyer receives bachelor’s degree
EUGENE, Ore. — Bradley M. Sawyer of Augusta, Maine, received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oregon.
Surette, of Readfield, receives degree
WORCESTER, Mass. —Meghan Surette of Readfield, Maine, has received a bachelor’s degree from Assumption College.
Surette graduated with a double major in French and psychology.
Odom, of Hallowell, earns masters
POULTNEY, Vt. — Danielle Odom of Hallowell, Maine, graduated with a master’s degree in environmental studies from Green Mountain College.

CASTLETON, Vt. — Eric Dowd of Richmond, Maine, has graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication from Castleton College.
Students receive dean’s list honors
BRISTOL, R.I. — Sydney Nadeau, of Greene, Maine, and Mia Sargent, of Augusta, Maine, were named to the dean’s list at Roger Williams University for the spring 2014 semester.
Nadeau is majoring in criminal justice/psychology.
Sargent is majoring in elementary education.
Giguere named to spring dean’s list
CASTINE — Gabriel Giguere has been named to Maine Maritime Academy’s dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester.
Giguere is majoring in marine engineering and is active in the Regiment of Midshipmen, the academy’s leadership and management laboratory. He will be a junior in the fall.
Levasseur graduates, receives degree
LOWELL, Mass. — Peter Levasseur of Randolph, Maine, received a bachelor’s degree in information technology from UMass Lowell’s College of Sciences.
