BINGHAM — The following Bingham events are set for Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27.
Saturday events
• 3k Road Race and Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. starting and finishing at Quimby Middle School. Registration is set for 8-8:45 a.m. Trophies and prizes for different age groups will be awarded.
• Kids Fun Day is set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Quimby Field. The free event includes slides, rock climbing, bungee bouncing, face painting, mechanical bull, karaoke, games, bicycle raffle and prizes.
• A fishing derby at Wyman Lake will take place from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. The weigh station is at the Moscow boat landing. Tickets cost $5. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The vent is sponsored by Upper Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce.
• Live music featuring Dime Store Heroes is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. at North Country Rivers.
• Fireworks are planned for 9 p.m. at North Country Rivers.
Sunday events
• Community church service is set for 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Old Free Meeting House.
• A lunch and ice cream social will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Quimby Field. Bring your own picnic; ice cream will be free.
• Community chorus will perform at 4 p.m. at Quimby Field.
