Paul LePage’s TV ads say he is blunt and honest. They got it half right. He is a governor who does what the tea party wants, including:
• Create taxpayer-paid corporate, private schools and condemn public schools.
• Veto minimum wage increase.
• Veto any plan to change health care to Affordable Care Act even though it would lower Maine’s medical expenses and make people healthier.
• Destroy unions by gutting contracts, pay and health benefits.
• Make it harder for elderly, poor and non-whites to vote.
• Condemn the opposition in every way possible, where true or not. The more you say it, the more people will believe it. They got that from a European dictator and it worked for him.
The tea party is a serious danger to our democracy and is against everything that doesn’t benefit its agenda at the state and federal levels.
