FARMINGDALE — Thea Sweet and Lilly Ly each had a goal and an assist to lead Hall-Dale past Winthrop 4-1 in Mountain Valley Conference girls soccer action Wednesday.

Signe Lynch and Eva Shepherd also scored for the Bulldogs (1-1). Olivia Maynard didn’t have to make a save as Hall-Dale outshot the Ramblers 33-2.

Shie Smith scored an unassisted goal for Winthrop (0-2). Brooke Dufour made 19 saves.

RICHMOND 13, PINE TREE 0: Amber Loon had four goals and two assists to lead the Bobcats to the Class D win in Richmond.

Meranda Martin, Kalah Patterson, Kelsea Anair each added two goals for Richmond (1-0) while Molly Meagher, Camryn Hurley and Kelsie Obie had one apiece. Martin and Hurley also had two assists each. Jade Gammon made one save.

Katherine Kelly stopped 13 shots for Pine Tree (2-1).

MONMOUTH 6, OAK HILL 3: Hayley Fletcher scored three goals to lead the host Mustangs to the MVC win.

Sidney Wilson added two goals and two assists for Monmouth (3-0-0) while Sammy Grandahl had one goal. Maddy Neal made five saves.

Brittany Marquis, Jamie Prue and Bri Ivy had one goal apiece. Meagan Crosby made 15 saves for Oak Hill (0-2-0).

BOYS SOCCER

 

RICHMOND 2, PINE TREE 0: Cody Tribbet and Brendan Emmons each scored a goal to lead the host Bobcats to the Class D victory.

Tyler Soucy chipped in with an assist. Zach Small made four saves for Richmond (2-0-0) while Ryan Pierce stopped 13 shots for Pine Tree (1-1-1).

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, HALL-DALE 0: Alyvia Lee and Marissa Crosby each scored an unassisted goal to lead the Falcons to the MVC win in Rumford. Kassie Thibodeau stopped nine shots in net for Mountain Valley (2-2).

Molly French made 18 saves for Hall-Dale (0-3).

WINTHROP 1, TELSTAR 0: Julie McConnell scored off an assist from Katroina Hajduk with 25:30 left in the game to give the Ramblers the MVC win in Bethel.

Corinna Coulton made eight saves for Winthrop (2-1) while Meg Glover also stopped eight for Telstar (2-1).

OAK HILL 7, DIRIGO 1: Kylee Veilleux poured in three goals to lead the Raiders to the MVC win in Dixfield.

Hayley Marshall added a pair of goals for Oak Hill (4-0), while Sadie Goulet notched a score and three assists.

Danielle Simpson also scored for the Raiders, while Megan Labee made two saves in goal.
