I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Sen. Christopher Johnson, D-Somerville, District 13.
The myriad issues facing us statewide are complicated topics of grave importance to our economy. Still, Chris has found the time and the heart to truly engage locally, with his constituents. He has tirelessly offered his voice in Augusta on behalf of a group of residents whose natural resource, Clary Lake, has been pillaged by self-seeking and economically and socially misguided parties.
We still have a way to go before justice is obtained, but we have made progress. We now have a water level order in part to because of Chris’s oversight and timely inquiries. He speaks for the people and fights for the people, even in those cases where any far-reaching prestige is not at play. We need more people in office like Chris Johnson. He’s got my vote.
