Voters in Litchfield, Monmouth and Wales are fortunate to have Rachel Sukeforth, Democrat from Litchfield, running for representative in House District 82.
When state revenue sharing was cut during the past four years, Maine city and town budgets were hit hard. Many municipalities had to raise property taxes to make up the difference.
When elected, Rachel will work to increase state revenues so that our towns will no longer have to bear the brunt of irresponsible fiscal policies in Augusta. We need a representative who cares about the economic health of our town and the services we all depend on.
That is why I’m voting for Rachel Sukeforth on Nov. 4. I urge others to do so as well.
