I am writing this letter to support Sen. Roger Katz, R-Augusta, in his bid for re-election to the Maine State Senate.

I have known Roger and his wife for quite some time and I have yet to meet a family that supports the community and the state quite like they do. You often see one or both of them at various community events with a smile on their face and a willingness to pitch in for a worthy cause.

Roger is a successful attorney in his own right, yet he seeks to serve Maine because he genuinely has a great love for the state.

Roger’s actions in cleaning up the Maine Turnpike Authority, and protecting the privacy of our cell phone and computer records from government snooping all speak to his ability and desire to make Maine a better place to live and work.
