Rep. Matthew Pouliot, R-Augusta, has proven to be an effective legislator and strong voice for the residents of Augusta during his first term in office. He made it clear from day one that his priority is his district, and in order to best represent their wishes, he has voted across the aisle many times. Matt is highly respected as someone who is always willing to work on policies with folks no matter their party affiliation.

Matt has also established himself as a leader on education policy. As both a member of the Education Committee and the sponsor of legislation, such as a bill encouraging financial literacy for students, he is dedicated to ensuring success for our younger generations.
