I want to thank Sen. Colleen Lachowicz, D-Waterville, for her work trying to fix MaineCare transportation. My son had a troubling experience when the transportation system broke down. She took my call along with the calls from others who had encountered similar situations.

Sen. Lachowicz fought to hold the broker accountable. She held their feet to the fire. She researched and found a solution. She fought against that company getting a bonus. They didn’t deserve it after the careless and substandard job they did.

I’m glad she was on the job fighting for our most vulnerable citizens and making sure our tax dollars aren’t wasted.

I hope you’ll join me on Election Day and vote to re-elect Colleen Lachowicz for Senate District 16.
