Rep. John Picchiotti, R-Fairfield, deserves to return to Maine’s House of Representatives for District 108, covering Fairfield, Mercer and Smithfield. His common-sense approach to legislation is sadly missing in much of today’s government. He avoids the low-road approach of generic and false accusations.
My current representative submitted a bill for me, which would mandate forfeiture of all pension earnings upon conviction of felony level misuse of state funds. She inexplicably skipped the hearing, which I feel led to the bill’s defeat. I strongly feel John would have attended in staunch support. The bill would have had a much greater chance of passing.
John makes himself available to all his constituents, stopping to answer questions or just to say hello. He devotes time to listen and takes action to the best of his ability.
No other representative has responded as quickly, frequently answering me within five minutes. Elect John Picchiotti.
