Sen. Colleen Lachowicz, D-Waterville, is running for re-election to state Senate District 16. There are three good reasons to vote for her. First, she has done a great job representing the people of her district. She never fails to listen to her constituents’ concerns and to do the best she can to help them. Even when they have a different opinion on issues she takes thoughtful account of what they say. Second, Colleen has worked across the aisle. She cares what other people think and values compromise. She recognizes that zero-sum politics is destroying our state and that we need to craft solutions everyone can live with.
Finally, Colleen is a genuinely caring person who sponsors and votes for legislation that makes our district and our state a friendly place to live and a good place to do business.
