I am supporting Rep. Gay Grant, D-Gardiner, to represent the new district that includes Farmingdale and Gardiner. I know how hard she works for her constituents, and I’m happy that I can now vote for her.

As a veteran, I especially appreciate her record of support for those who served our country in the armed forces, such an ensuring that Iraq and Afghanistan veterans can access a property tax exemption that veterans of other conflicts receive, and providing funds for the Veterans Treatment Court in Kennebec County.

For years, she has also shared her voice at special events at the Smith-Wiley Post 4 American Legion in Gardiner. She always says yes to whatever we ask of her, and she does what she says she will do. Whether through music or at the Legislature, I know Gay Grant is our best voice in Augusta.
