Dec. 9, a resident reported the theft of $8,000 in jewelry, saying someone entered her home and stole a diamond ring.

Sunday, Jason B. Perkins, 30, of Jefferson, was arrested on Olsen Lane on charges of domestic violence assault and violating condition of release.
AUGUSTA
Monday at 9:38 a.m., Stephanie Zahn, 34, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of violation of a protective order after police responded to a report of a disturbance/disorderly conduct on Northern Avenue.
10:03 a.m., Breon Shannon, 26, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of obstructing government administration and criminal trespass after police responded to a report of a disturbance/disorderly conduct on Wabon Street.
5:28 p.m., Emlyn Rooks-Hughes, 19, of Randolph, was arrested on Union Street on a warrant from Augusta District Court charging him with failure to appear on charges of misuse of identification and theft by deception.
