Regional School Unit 18, serving Belgrade, China, Oakland, Rome and Sidney, has announced that pre-kindergarten registration packets will be available at the RSU 18 elementary schools on Feb. 2. Any parent who is interested in sending their child to pre K in the fall can pick up registration packets at their local school office. To attend pre K, a child must be 4 years old by Oct. 15.

Kindergarten screening will be held in the RSU 18 elementary schools on the following dates for each school:

• China Primary School, April 13; 445-1550

• Belgrade Central School, April 8; 495-2321

• Atwood Elementary School, April 6; 465-3411

• James Bean School, April 7; 547-3395

Any parent who intends to send their school-age child to kindergarten in the fall can call their local school office to make an appointment. To attend kindergarten, a child who must be 5 years old by Oct. 15.
