A live auction of art and antiques is planned for 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8 at Slates in Hallowell. Music will be provided by Marcia Gallagher and Katie Daggett, according to a news release from the Hallowell Citizens Initiative Committee.

Admission is $10, and there will be a cash bar.

Proceeds will benefit the committee’s efforts to preserve the wooden section of the fire station with its rare firehose tower.
