A registered sex offender was again convicted for sex crimes Friday in Franklin County court.

Lloyd Gilbert, 66, of Pittsfield, was convicted of class B unlawful sexual contact and class D unlawful sexual touching.

Gilbert was sentenced to 10 years of incarceration with all but nine months suspended and 12 years’ probation, according to court documents.

He was arrested by Maine State Police and indicted in April on a charge of forcing a child under the age of 12 to engage in sexual contact in 2004 and for sexually touching a different victim “who had not expressly or impliedly acquiesced to sexual touching” in 2012.
